ABOUT DANIKA
Danika has been a creative her entire life. From a tender age she was writing, drawing, painting, singing and dancing.
She hails a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, taking special interest in Rhetoric and Business Communication.
Her art (including the books) have been her primary tool in not only processing, but unpacking and addressing the situation at hand.
She has two areas of professional expertise: fine dining and exotic entertainment. This blend of industries has oddly enough prepared Danika very well for this entire situation. In the front, she has an extensive business background, strong negotiation abilities and logistical fluency. In the back, she has first-hand knowledge and innate navigational expertise of the underbelly and its workings.
Aside this entire situation, Danika is a very simple person. She is a sober, celibate, vegan dog-mom that loves to be active and help others.
She gives all glory to God for managing to stay alive and navigate such a treacherous obstacle course with such staggering odds. She states, "It has not been me, it has been Him."
Sobriety is POWER.
Sobriety is a heavy theme throughout
The Underground Ballerina Saga.
Danika is an alcoholic but has been dry most of the last 15 years and is over four years sober today. It is her second time hitting that milestone. Her son was her primary motivation to first pursue sobriety in 2011.
After this entire situation, sobriety is a no-brainer for Danika. It is only logical. It has become her way of life. She prefers to be present and fully aware of the world around her at all times.
While she has suffered immeasurable loss, her sobriety has allowed her to process that loss constructively.
The writing of
The Underground Ballerina Saga
has been therapeutic within itself.
Danika's sobriety has quite literally kept her alive. There is no way she would have been able to navigate the hellscape she did with such success, had she been impaired. If intoxicated, she would have been a much easier target.
Danika hopes that the sharing of her own misfortune may serve as a survival guide to someone else; that anyone struggling in recovery who finds her work may be inspired to hang in there.
Danika firmly believes that one must always maintain an attitude of gratitude. There is always someone who has it worse off, and there is ALWAYS something to be grateful for.
Why is her face always covered?
A couple reasons...
As you will learn in The Underground Ballerina Saga, the author’s face was burned with lye during a murder attempt in 2023. Many of those partaking in the Organized Harassment began attacking her about the scar on her face. She refuses to be bullied over something she did not choose.
Additionally, there has been an active stalking situation in progress since July of 2025, so it would not be wise for her to show her entire face on such a large scale.
Last but certainly not least: the sinister use of AI within this entire debacle. Images of her late family members have been created and used to make the fallen appear alive. They are not.
Many editing fails have been found by Danika and others along this entire journey.
She does not want her own likeness used to produce fraudulent images of herself, as has been done with her late family members.
God Always Remains...
God has been her fortress amid a legion of pervasive evils.
Danika is not a saint, yet she has been spared.
She remains grateful to God for sustaining her through the tragedy she writes about.
She lost every person she ever loved, her home and all of her assets.
God remains.
She does not know why God chose to keep her here, but there must be a reason...
Maybe it is to show someone else in recovery that they too can remain sober amidst horrific tragedy.
Maybe it is to show someone in the sex-work industry that they are more than the scarlet letter society has branded them with.
Maybe it is to show another grieving mother that she can still face all of the evils of the world when the largest piece of her heart has stopped beating altogether.
Regardless, she is forever grateful for the gift of life God gives her every single day.
She prays to be made useful and stay aligned with His will.
She encourages everyone to find and connect with their Higher Power.
When all is lost, God will always remain.
