Danika's story highlights the blatant racism her family faced in their hometown on multiple occasions. It is clear that the toxic racial prejudice of that small, impoverished country town worked in the widow's favor.
Ultimately, Danika was forced to leave the area, while the crimes committed by the widow and her accomplices were conveniently overlooked.
That community has thrived since the tragedy.
There are several instances illustrating the racism Danika's son encountered during his life in the county, encountered from both adults and children.
Children are not born with prejudice; they become products of their environment. They are conditioned to adopt such mental illness by bigger, nastier, more seasoned bigots, the ones who pull the strings in that neck of the woods.
Wiping out one beautiful Brown family for massive financial gain (and actively covering the massacre) is not above the creatures that reside in this area.
This message was sent to Danika's son while he was in class. When he attempted to show it to his teacher, she quickly dismissed him and instructed him to return to his seat.
She blew him off.
Danika addressed the educator directly and also reached out to the parents of the child who sent the message.
Danika's son was perplexed by the inaction of his 'authority figure' in this moment of racial prejudice. He ran to his mother, who was elated to tackle the situation on his behalf.
These parents did not deserve a child to begin with. Children are a gift from God.
Look what they did with that gift.
Any parent of a child of color knows that the first thing the parent of a child who has spoken like this often says is, 'they weren't raised that way'.
Then who taught them to speak that way?
Someone encouraged it.
Someone led that child to believe that this was acceptable.
Save the excuses.
Save the lies.
Children are not born racist; they are conditioned into becoming so.
Once again, Danika found herself needing to address an educator about their racial prejudice.
Danika's son sent her this message along with the following screenshot.
Five children had been running in the cafeteria: two children of color, including Danika's son, and three White children.
The Brown children were disciplined, the White children were not.
Danika called the school and demand an explanation. It was only after her inquiry that the punishment was equally disbursed.
Danika and the rest of the family always encouraged open dialogue about instances of racial prejudice. They consistently addressed these issues.
Now, Danika wonders if her strong stance against this small-town's sickness could have made the hunt more savory for the benefitting accomplices.
These are only a few examples.
This screenshot is from an incident that occurred just a couple of months before the butchering took place.
Throughout The Underground Ballerina Saga, Danika delves into various instances throughout her life where she faced racial prejudice in the world around her, and intimately when directed towards those she loved.
Danika has never been one to tolerate such filth.
As you read through the horrors, you will come to see the pivotal role that this diseased mentality played in the slaughter of Danika's only child and immediate family.
